A world needed the power of the elements to survive. But it was not easy if nature was not as free as we know it. Nature could only take form if there were people who were mastering and giving shape to it, so the world could prosper. Of course it was not an easy task to understand the way of the elements to even master them, so if one was able to master more than one element, he was already likely to be worshipped by the others – people started to look up to you if you had mastered one element after all.
       However, this was also the greatest weakness of that world because the masters started to feel superior after a while and slacked off with their duty. They did not really try to give shape to the world anymore and slowly nature died. People were suffering under the change and as the masters were not noticing it, more and more catastrophes came over the world. When they finally saw what had happened, it was already too late. The folks were angry about them and sacrificed them in hope that nature would find its own way like that. But it was a world that could not exist without masters of the elements.
       Time passed and only a few people had survived those drastic changes in nature. Even now nature was not like it was before – it was more an enemy to every living being.

But not for a young boy who loved the wind. He was a clever guy, firm when it came to something he had to protect and gentle to everything else. His roots were somewhat Roman, but also a bit of Greek, and travelling between these two places was always an exciting thing for him to do. In general, he loved travelling a lot.
       He was like a messenger, bringing news and letters to different places. Sometimes his messages were full of joy, others were full of sadness. At times he would hate his job but then he also loved it. Since he knew that people were waiting eagerly for news of relatives, messages from beloved persons – and with this, the young boy was as free as the wind and could get everywhere, most of the times bringing a gentle breeze of home to those who would be receiving those messages.

In contrast to him, there was a woman, cheekily playing around and never staying for long at one place. She loved the freedom she had and with the wings she was born with, she could go wherever she wanted to. The most important thing for her was never to be bounded by anyone. She did neither care whether she made people sad or made them happy. She was always at different places. Even she herself could not clearly remember anymore or where her roots were from.
       With her travelling she never stayed in someone's memory for long. Just like a breeze which just passed and then was already at another place. Unseen at some times since she was too fast, almost never resting.
       Still, one should never make her angry because if she was, she would leave a great impact. She was not a patient person, in fact, she was pretty short-tempered. If anyone limited her freedom or did not respect her, she would be finding a way to break free again. If anyone ever memorized her, she had been described as a raging storm, never to be confined.

In another part of the world, there was a man similar to the other two. He loved his freedom and he loved travelling. Many people had already heard of him, the wise person who always had a good advice for anyone in help, a great support to anyone who needed it.
       When people came to seek aid from him, sometimes his words would be provoking and made people retreat. But after a while they would just notice that he had helped them in his own way, making them thinking deeper about a problem until they came up with their own conclusions. Even though the man always cared about the things he said, at times he overdid some things and swamped some of those he wanted to help – and still they were always able to stand up on their own feet again which made him happy.
       He tried to support everyone, to be the wind at one's back; not always making things easier for everyone, but once they noticed it, they would gladly take his help.

It was sudden on one day, when the three of them felt like they were called. Not just by anyone, but by the element that they loved. It was just as if the wind was calling out for them and since the element was like a family to them, they listened and followed the call. They were brought together and when they met each other, they understood the ways of the wind.
       They were the first heroes to be called by nature and soon other masters of the other elements would join. To revive nature and to bring back the old times without repeating the old mistakes of the former masters. The world had been long enough without its masters.

And the rest is history …
This one is dedicated to ever lovely *Trangus :heart:
You can see it as a belated Christmas Gift, if you want, but well ...

Anyway, this was inspired by this awesome picture and I just had to write something about this
Seems like I would even be able to write a whole story based on this ... I tried my best to keep it short :lol:

I hope I did the picture justice, but I really doubt it ... ^^;
Dear, if you don't like it, feel free to tell me to delete it, since it's your picture and you already have a background story for it! I'm serious!
